Solar flare activity was very low all week.
Geomagnetic activity observed for the Australian Region was quiet on 6th to 8th, and 10th to 11th; quiet to active on 9th; and quiet to unsettled on 12th.
Southern Australian Ionospheric F2 critical frequencies were near predicted on 6th and 12th; near predicted to 20 per cent enhanced on 7th; near predicted to 15 per cent enhanced on 8th, 10th and 11th; and near predicted to 30 per cent enhanced on 9th.
Forecast for 13th to 19th April
Solar activity should be low.
Geomagnetic activity should see quiet to unsettled conditions.
Frequencies should be near predicted monthly values.

BY - A large group of operators from the Zhuhai Polytechnic College ARC
will be active as BY7KPI from Huangmao (AS-131) from around 6 UTC
on 14 April until around 8 UTC on the 15th. They plan to operate

BY - Look for BD1DRJ/3, BD3APX/3 and BD3AEO/3 to be active from
Shijiutuo Island (AS-134) on 21-22 April. They plan to operate CW

I - The third edition of the Mediterraneo DX Club's Members Trophy will
take place on 20-22 April. The MDXC HQ station IQ8MD plus several
special event stations are expected to participate in the event:
4M0R, 4X0MDC, EB8MDC, II0MDC, II9MDC, IO0MDC, IO1MDC, IO2MDC,
IO3MDC, IO9MDC, IR0MDC, IR2MDC, IR3MDC, IR8MDC, IS0MDC, IU0MDC,
IU9MDC, SX1MDC. All of the QSOs made with these stations will be
confirmed automatically via the bureau. Direct requests should be
sent to the Members Trophy Manager, Giuliano Mondini (IK2VUC).

I - Special station I0SPQR will be active on all bands on 20-22 April
to celebrate the 2760th anniversary of the foundation of Rome. QSL

JD1_oga - Skip, JE2HCJ will operate as JE2HCJ/JD1 from the Ogasawara Islands
between 16 and 25 April. He will be QRV with a long wire on 6-160
metres, mainly on CW on the low bands. QSL via home call. [TNX The

KH8_si - The N8S team on Swains Island expects to go QRT around 18-19 UTC on
15 April. The logsearch on the expedition's website has been
disabled for a few days because of traffic overload. Go to
http://logsearch.de/ instead, and use the "N8S Log search" button
on the left menu. At 1.35 UTC on 13 April N8S had logged 97,127
QSOs (chapeau!).
OD - Paulo, CT1EFS is currently in Shama, Lebanon and will remain there
until early June. He is waiting for the authorization to operate as
OD5/CT1EFS, and plans are to be active daily on 15, 17 and 20
metres (possibily 40 metres as well) SSB and CW starting around

OH - OH6LI, OH3BHL and other Finnish operators will be active as OH3I
from either Parainen or Nauvo Island (EU-096) on 21-22 April. They
plan to operate CW, SSB and digital modes on 40, 30, 20 and 17
metres with 2-3 stations, amplifiers and good antennas. QSL via

OZ - Tom, DL4VM will be active as OZ/DL4VM from Samso Island (EU-172)
from 21 April to 5 May. He will operate QRP on 40, 20 and 15 metres

SU - Special event station SU8DRM will be activated on 14-17 April for
the Regional Conference on "Disaster: Relief and Management" to be
held in Alexandria, Egypt. QSL via SU1KM (direct only).
TA - TA1HZ and TA2RX will operate as TC57ALAY on 21-25 April in
remembrance of the role played by the 57th Infantry Regiment
("Alay") of the Turkish Fifth Army during the Dardanelles Campaign
(Canakkale Savaslari) in 1915. Expect activity on 40 and 20 metres

TK - Laci/HA0HW, Tomi/HA4DX, Geza/HA4XG, Ivan/LZ1PJ and Valya/LZ5AV will

and digital modes (BPSK31 and RTTY). He will also have a CW beacon

MAURITANIA, 5T. A group of Japanese operators are QRV as 5T5JA and
5T5DX from Nouakchott until April 15. Activity is on all HF bands.

KENYA, 5Z. Don, W4ZYT is QRV as 5Z4ZK from Nairobi until April 19
while doing some medical and teaching work here. Activity is mostly
CW on 40, 30, 20 and 17 meters. QSL to home call.
SIERRA LEONE, 9L. Angel is QRV as 9L1DIR and has been active on 10
meters SSB around 1740 to 1900z. QSL via EA4URE.
TAIWAN, BV. Jimmy, BX5AA has been QRV on 20 meters using SSB around
1300z then again around 2300z.
TAJIKISTAN, EY. Nodir, EY8MM has been active on 20 meters using CW
and SSB from around 1600 to 1900z. QSL via K1BV.
LIECHTENSTEIN, HB0. Dom, M1KTA will be QRV as HB0/M1KTA/p using QRP
power from Vaduz, near Triesenberg, from April 15 to 16. Activity
will be on 160 to 10 meters using CW and SSB. He will concentrate
his activity on 30 and 20 meters.
VATICAN, HV. HV0A has been active using CW and SSB on 80 and 40
meters between 1830 and 2215z. QSL via IK0FVC.
ITALY, I. Several Sicilian operators are QRV as IE9/IQ9PA from
Ustica Island, IOTA EU-051, until April 15. QSL via IT9TQH.
GUINEA BISSAU, J5. Tibi, HA7TM is QRV as J5UTM until April 21.

EGYPT, SU. In connection with the ITU Regional Workshop on
Emergency Telecommunications and Disaster Relief in the Arab Region,
Mustapha, DL1BDF is QRV as SU8DRM until April 17. The EARA club

SOMALIA, T5. Filip, ON4TA is QRV as 6O0F from Puntland until April
18 while visiting here. This is not a DXpedition. Activity is on

UZBEKISTAN, UK. Victor, UK8AKK has been active using RTTY on 20
meters around 1200z.
CAMBODIA, XU. XU7MDY has been active on 17 meters around 1130z and

INDONESIA, YB. YC0IEM/4 will be QRV from Bangka, IOTA OC-144, from
April 16 to 22. QSL via IZ8CCW.
SYRIA, YK. Saad, N5FF is QRV as YK1BA until April 27 while on
business here. He is active 3 to 4 hours a day on HF, but mostly on
