3Y, BOUVET ISLAND (Update)
Petrus, 3Y0E, continues to be active daily on 14260 kHz usually between
1600-1900z. The 3Y0E Web page reports that they have received another portion of
QSOs logged by Petrus up to January 24th. It also mentions: "Important note: Due
to the amount of E-mails we receive with log queries (i.e. I'm not in the log,
correct my call, put me in the log please etc.), we would like to ask kindly to
refer to this post regarding log issues. We also would like to repeat that none
of the missing entries nor suffix corrections etc. in the log may be corrected
without good proof that a QSO took place (i.e. recording of a genuine QSO) and
we cannot refer to any issues like those until Petrus comes back to RSA from
Bouvet Island with his notes and logbook. All queries will be revised then and
all operators concerned will be contacted with exact info of their logbook
entries status. Thank you for understanding."
The 3Y0E log is now available online at:
http://sq8aqd.net/3y0e/index.php
ONE MORE NOTE: The team at 3Y0E.com are very excited to report that a "World
Exclusive" will soon be appearing on the Web site. This has never happened
before on any DXpedition Web site. They are delighted to be the first. They hope
to have this ready for you over the weekend, or Monday at the latest....
