Geomagnetic activity observed for the Australian Region was unsettled on 1st; quiet to active on 2nd and 3rd; quiet to unsettled on 4th and 7th; and quiet on 5th and 6th. Southern Australian Ionospheric F2 critical frequencies were near predicted on 1st and 4th to 7th; near predicted to 10 per cent depressed on 2nd; and depressed 10 per cent to near predicted on 3rd. Forecast for 8th to 14th February Solar activity should be very low. Geomagnetic activity could be unsettled to active, with storm levels possible at high latitudes on 9th and 10th, otherwise mostly quiet to unsettled on other days.
